PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pipe installation method which can install a drain pipe into the ground while accurately positioning a drain hole opened at the drain pipe at a sand bed when employing a drainage method as part of a slope stabilizing method and a liquefaction countermeasure method.SOLUTION: In a drain pipe installation method, a drain pipe 10 is pressure-inserted into the ground, and a drain hole 2 of the drain pipe 10 is formed at a sand bed G4 which constitutes the ground. In a process that the drain pipe 10 is rotationally pressure-inserted into the ground by a motor, it is specified that the drain pipe 10 reaches the sand bed G4 when motor torque is abruptly changed, then, the drain hole 2 is formed in the sand bed G4, and the drain pipe 10 is installed in the ground. |
