<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent entry of water and, at normal time, prevent interference with air flow without using a drive source such as electricity at all.SOLUTION: A cutoff damper of an air conditioner duct comprises: a detection tank 10 into which water entering an air conditioner duct flows; and a closing plate 12 whose state of being engaged with a fastener 11 is canceled interlocking with dead weight of the water flowing into the detection tank 10, that falls by gravitation, and that closes a channel. The closing plate 12 is provided at a position at which the closing plate 12 does not interfere with air flow in a state in which the closing plate 12 is engaged with the fastener 11. The closing plate 12 is accommodated in an upper portion of the channel almost horizontally with one edge 12a being rotatably supported in the upper portion of the channel by a hinge member 13 and the other edge 12b being engaged with the fastener 11. In reaction to closing of the channel by falling by gravitation of the closing plate 12, a stopper arm 14 starts rotating and the other end of the stopper arm 14 is engaged with a stopper pedestal 17 arranged in the channel at a position almost perpendicular to the closing plate 12.</p> |
