<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a high pressure hose having a reinforcing layer, in which metallic wires are mutually braided.SOLUTION: A high pressure hose 10 has one or more reinforcing layers formed by braiding metallic wires on an outer periphery of an inner layer tube 12 through which fluid flows. The metallic wires are braided by mutually braiding units of belt-like metallic wires 20 formed into a belt shape by parallely aligning four single metallic wires 22. Height of an outermost single metallic wire 22a out of the belt-like metallic wires 20 from the inner layer tube 12 is smaller than height of an inner single metallic wire 20b from the inner layer tube 12. Thereby, surface distortion of the outermost single metallic wire 22a at a portion at which the belt-like metallic wires 20 are crossed with each other is reduced, and stress concentration is loosened. Thus, fatigue and breakage are restrained, so as to improve durability of the high pressure hose 10.</p> |
