<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent which permits formation of a liquid crystal alignment film having good printing property, stability to rubbing-pressing, and reverse tilt durability and having good liquid crystal aligning property and heat resistance.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal aligning agent contains at least one polymer selected from a group consisting of a polyamic acid, a polyamic acid ester and a polyimide, which are obtained by allowing a diamine containing a compound expressed by formula (d) shown below to react with at least one compound selected from a group consisting of a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, a tetracarboxylic acid diester compound and a tetracarboxylic acid diester dihalide.</p> |
