PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and functional foods for reducing blood neutral lipid excellent in reduction action of blood neutral lipid concentration, particularly an increasing inhibitory effect of postprandial blood neutral lipid concentration.SOLUTION: A composition for reducing blood neutral lipid containing a heating fermentation ginger obtained by heating fermented ginger and/or an extract thereof as an active ingredient is useful for prevention and/or improvement of hyperlipidemia, because an outstanding reduction action of blood neutral lipid is observed. The composition for reducing blood neutral lipid has a safety and an excellent palatability, and is easy to orally ingest daily, thereby not only being ingested in its natural condition, such as a form of granule, capsule, tablet, or liquid, but also being considered as functional foods by mixing with drinks such as various kinds of tea and jelly to easily ingest for a long time. |
