摘要 A sorting apparatus comprises a conveyance path, a first storage section, a detection section, a first roller and a control section. The conveyance path conveys a sheet. The first storage section stores the sheet conveyed through the conveyance path. The detection section detects whether or not the sheet conveyed in the conveyance path is in the detection target area of the conveyance path. The first roller is located at the downstream side of the detection target area of the detection section in a conveyance direction of the conveyance path, and rotates to convey the sheet in the conveyance path towards the first storage section. The control section reversely rotates the first roller when the conveyance path is recovered from a stop state so that the sheet in the conveyance path is moved for a distance from the first roller to the detection target area of the detection section.
