TIMESTAMP GENERATING METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM

Provided are a timestamp generating method, device and system, the method comprising: receiving via a data packet processing unit a data packet transmitted by a physical layer (PHY) transceiving unit or by a high layer, and identifying whether the data packet is a Precision Time Protocol (PTP) data packet; if yes, then generating a precise timestamp according to the PHY delay provided by a PHY delay acquisition unit and the non-PHY delay provided by a non-PHY delay acquisition unit, and rewriting the timestamp field in the data packet, thus effectively improving timestamp precision and improving time synchronization precision of the entire communication network.
