PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a message server which classifies user's friends into first type or second type and enables the user to exchange chat messages with the first type friends and to only receive chat messages from the second type friends.SOLUTION: An operation method of a mobile terminal for instant messaging service includes the steps of: storing a list of a plurality of friends who are classified into first type or second type; receiving a chat message from a message server via a wireless communication network; determining whether a sender type of the received chat message is the first type or the second type; determining whether to display a user input window in a chat window displaying the chat message according to the sender type of the received chat message; and selectively displaying the user input window in the chat window according to a result of the determination. |
