Provided is a user interface device whereby it is possible to appropriately control a pace of a change of a parameter with respect to a user's setting operation. In a user interface device which presents to a user an object (31) and a gauge (32) which are guides for causing a user to comprehend a setting state of a gauge volume as a parameter to be referred to in a computation process of a computer, and which sets the gauge volume according to a setting operation such as a drag operation with a change in an operation location (Pa) by a user, a means is disposed for changing a gauge volume setting value (Pg) according to a change volume (•Y) of the operation location (Pa). A means is further disposed upon said means for changing a reference value (Vc) which defines a relation between the operation location change volume (•Y) and the gauge volume setting value (Pg) change volume according to an operation contiguous time (t) from a prescribed reference time which is set in linkage with the setting operation.
