PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment that can drive loads advantageously in terms of transmission efficiency and speed even when a space for storing bundle wire to connect a main body and units is limited, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: Electronic equipment according to the present invention includes a control part that controls the operation of the electronic equipment, and a unit part that is configured to be withdrawable from a main body part on which a plurality of loads and the control part are mounted and on which at least a first load, second load, and third load are mounted. The first load and second load are respectively connected to a serial communication part performing serial communication with the control part. The third load is connected to a communication line provided corresponding to the third load for communicating with the control part, but is not connected to the serial communication part. |
