PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pedestal hardware that has superior earthquake resistance and is easy to install.SOLUTION: Pedestal hardware comprises a pedestal base 11 fixed to the foundations G with an anchor bolt A; a hollow shaft 13 inserted into a lower part of a column P; a long bolt 15 connecting both the pedestal base and hollow shaft to each other at a predetermined distance; and an elastic member 17 interposed between the pedestal base and hollow shaft in an outward direction of the long bolt. The pedestal base and long bolt are fitted to float vertically or/and horizontally, and the elastic member can curve, flex, and twist in arbitrary direction, so that when external force of an earthquake etc., operates on the column, external force to the pedestal base is deterred. When external force of the earthquake etc., operates on the column, the elastic member curves outward with vertical external force to flex so as to enable the hollow shaft and long bolt to move down, and twists and curves in an arcuate shape in a rotating direction with horizontal external force to absorb and reduce the external force and to elastically restore itself as the external force decreases. |
