摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device for a fuel tank that can detect an area of a hole on the fuel tank larger than a hole formed on a restriction part even when installing a seal valve for opening/closing a communication passage by using a pressure difference that is generated by the restriction part arranged in a bypass passage branched from the communication passage for communicating inside of the fuel tank with inside of an adsorber.SOLUTION: An ECU introduces negative pressure to a fuel tank (Step S8) and determines that the fuel tank has a hole (Step S11) when determining that a detection value Pc2 from a canister inner pressure sensor is not less than a hole detection determination value Psl (Step S10). When determining that a detection value Pt2 from a tank inner pressure sensor is less than a large hole detection determination value Pgl, the ECU 5 determines that the fuel tank has a small hole (Step S17), and when determining that the detection value Pt2 is not less than the large hole detection determination value Pgl, the ECU 5 determines that the fuel tank has a large hole (Step S18).
