<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device capable of detecting a liquid leakage exceeding a predetermined amount and occurring through a mechanical seal during normal time and also detecting a liquid leakage occurring due to failure of the mechanical seal.SOLUTION: A pump device 10 includes: a pump part 20; a rotation shaft part 40; an electric motor 30; a mechanical seal 60 attached to an outer periphery of the rotation shaft part 40; a liquid retaining part 67 and a supply cup 70 which are disposed around a seal part S Of the mechanical seal 60; a pressure switch 100 which detects a state that a pressure in the supply cup 70 becomes a predetermined value or higher; a first float switch 80 which detects a state that a height of a liquid surface of the supply cup 70 becomes equal to or higher than a first liquid surface position P2; and a speaker 112 which alerts in response to detection results of the pressure switch 100 and the first float switch 80.</p> |
