<p>The present invention relates to a system for selectively providing background music in a messenger system, the system comprising: at least one user terminal in which a messenger program is installed; a messenger management server for providing a messenger program to the user terminal and providing a messenger function via online communication media between users by activating the messenger program installed in the user terminal; and a music contents server configured to: provide a play program, which interworks with the messenger management server and can play background music in the messenger program; contain a plurality of background music files that can be selected by the user; and provide corresponding background music selected by the user of the user terminal to be played when the messenger program is activated.</p> |
