PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact charging system capable of surely holding charging efficiency from a primary coil to a secondary coil in the highest level.SOLUTION: The non-contact charging system includes: a power transmitter 6 which has a primary coil 5 for supplying power by electromagnetic induction; a power receiver 32 loaded on an electric automobile 2, which has a secondary coil 31 electromagnetically coupled to the power transmitter 6 for receiving power; a drive device 7 for allowing the primary coil 5 to move; a range specification device 8 for detecting the width of the electric automobile 2, and for determining the length of the electric automobile 2 on the basis of the detected width to specify the moving range of the primary coil; and a control device 34 for calculating charging efficiency from the primary coil 5 to the secondary coil 31 in the range specified by the range specification device 8, and for determining the optimum position where this calculation result becomes the maximum. The drive device 7 allows the primary coil 5 to move to the optimum position on the basis of the determination result by the control device 34. |
