1. A liquid level detection system for a rotatable driveline component of a vehicle, the rotatable driveline component configured to contain a liquid in an interior region, the system including:
a sensing device configured to couple to the rotatable driveline component of the vehicle to rotate with the rotatable driveline component during a rotation of the rotatable driveline component, the sensing device being positioned to detect information about the liquid in the interior region of the rotatable driveline component during at least a portion of the rotation and configured to communicate the detected information; and a receiver in communication with the sensing device to receive the detected information, the receiver being operative to determine a liquid level in the interior region of the rotatable driveline component based at least in part on the detected information.
