The invention relates to a storage system as well as to a storage method for hydrocarbon-driven carbon dioxide-storing mobile machines. The modular design of the storage system, the asynchronous removal of fuel from different storage modules (5), and the coordinated pressure and temperature modification in individual storage modules (5) allows the simultaneous storage of liquid fuel and gaseous, liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide in such a manner that one and the same storage area is used for fuel and carbon dioxide, in the process liquid fuel and liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide being prevented from mixing without using mechanical separating devices however. |
