GATEWAY, BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

The technological subject of the present invention is to provide a gateway which controls operation in order for a device connected to the gateway of a building automation system to efficiently consume energy, a building automation system including the same, and an operating method thereof. The present invention provides the gateway as a tool for solving the aforementioned technological subject, which connects a first network using a first protocol supporting a communication method by binding a network variable to a plurality of devices and/or a second network using a second protocol in the building automation system. The gateway includes an NV table having network variable sets referenced for making communications according to the communication method between the first network and the devices and/or the second network; and a peak controller determining a peak time band and setting a network variable value of the NC table for the devices and/or the second network to perform a power saving operation. The gateway, the building automation system including the same and the operating method thereof according to the present invention can perform the operation control to efficiently consume energy in the devices connected to the gateway.
