Disclosed is a therapeutic agent or a prophylactic agent for hypertension or normal high blood pressure, which comprises the following components (a) and (b) as active ingredients. (a) A 2-phenylthiazole compound represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. (b) At least one compound selected from the group consisting of a calcium antagonist, a rennin-angiotensin inhibitor, a diuretic agent, a sympathetic nerve inhibitor, a vasodilative agent, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound. Also disclosed is a method for treating or preventing hypertension or normal high blood pressure, which comprises administering the components (a) and (b) in effective amounts for the treatment or prevention of hypertension or normal high blood pressure. |
