PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion stability in an engine to which an exotic fuel with an evaporation rate lower than that of gasoline under a temperature condition lower than a specific temperature, is fed.SOLUTION: The engine 1 includes: an oil storage part 23a that is communicated to a crankcase 12a and stores engine oil; a PCV hose 59 for leading a blow-by gas from the crankcase 12a to a surge tank 55a; and an engine controller 100. The engine controller 100 increases an effective compression ratio of the engine 1 when the amount of ethanol that is evaporated in the oil storage part 23a and flows into the surge tank 55a via the PCV hose 59 is large, relative to when the amount of ethanol that flows into the surge tank 55a via the PCV hose 59 is small. |
