<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for fiber coating satisfying good adhesiveness with a fiber and high fracture physical properties at the same time while maintaining heat generation property, and also having enhanced blending ratio of natural raw materials, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for fiber coating prepared by blending 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing a natural rubber, 0.5 to 5 pts.mass of a phenol resin obtained by reacting a starch derivative in which starch is esterified, etherified, oxidized and/or crosslinked with a phenol, 1 to 10 pts.mass of a curing agent and 30 to 70 pts.mass of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (NSA) of 20 to 40 m/g, and there is also provided a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition for the fiber coating for coating a carcass layer and/or a belt layer.</p> |
