CURABLE MATERIAL

Provided is a curable material which has plasticity to such an extent that the curable material can be deformed at ambient temperature and can be converted into a cured article, said curable material having such excellent curability that a deep portion of the curable material can be cured. A curable material is an ambient-temperature plastic material which comprises a chain transfer agent comprising a compound having a structure represented by formula (1) and a metal-containing compound, a photoinitiator, a (meth)acrylate compound and a thermoplastic polymer, and does not exhibit fluidability and can be deformed at ambient temperature. The curable material can be converted into a cured article. In the formula, R1 may be present or absent, and represents a hydrogen atom when R1 is present, and a double bond is formed together with an adjacent atom when R1 is absent. In the formula, R2 represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom. In the formula, R3 may be present or absent, and represents a carbon atom, an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom when R3 is present, and a carbon atom and a nitrogen atom in the formula together form a double bond when R3 is absent.
