PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superheater capable of heating all steam generated in a waste heat boiler using process gas generated in a process for producing ammonia from a hydrocarbon material.SOLUTION: The overheat steam generator comprises: a first compartment 301 having a steam inlet 315; a second compartment 302 having a steam outlet 316; a shift compartment 311 separating the first and second compartments and defined by a space between pipe plates 303, 304; and a channelling pipe 312. An inlet chamber 318 is located between the pipe plate 303 on which a pipe bundle 309 of the first compartment 301 extends, and the pipe plate 304 on an opposite side, on which a pipe bundle 310 of the second compartment 302 extends. The first and second compartments 301, 302 are connected in series with a steam flow, and in parallel to a process gas flow. |
