PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling piston type compressor, in which a vane can follow a piston without applying any highly precise work to a vane groove.SOLUTION: A rolling piston type compressor 100 comprises a compression mechanism part including: a cylinder 5 having a cylindrical cylinder chamber 6 formed therein, a piston 9 mounted slidably in the eccentric part 4c of a shaft 4 for eccentrically rotating together with said eccentric part 4c in the cylinder chamber 6; and a vane 11 slidably disposed in a vane groove 10 formed in the cylinder 5 and adapted to have the other end part abutting against the outer circumference of the piston 9 by a pushing force applied to one end part, thereby to partition the inside of the cylinder chamber 6 into a suction chamber 12 and a compression chamber 13. In a section normal to the central axis of the cylinder chamber 6, the end portion of the vane 11 on the side to abut against the piston 9 is formed into an arcuate shape. The center of said arcuate shape is offset toward the compression chamber 13 with respect to the longitudinal center line of the vane 11. |
