Provided is a screen transmission system that can prevent display timing deviation of a plurality of difference regions that are to be simultaneously displayed. A difference region collection extraction unit (54) extracts difference region collections, which are collections of difference regions that are to be simultaneously displayed, from difference regions. A communication unit (56) transmits encoded data of the difference regions to a screen information reception device (61). When encoded data for a difference region are decoded, a determination unit (63) determines whether or not the encoded data of the difference region and of all the difference regions belonging to the same difference region collection have been decoded. When the encoded data of all the difference regions belonging to a difference region collection have been decoded, an updating unit (64) updates the image information of the region corresponding to the difference regions with the decoded image information. |
