Abstract The invention provides an assembly for vehicular transportation and/or mixing of concrete. The assembly includes a drum and a chassis for mounting the drum, wherein the drum and the chassis are made from a composition which includes an 5 effective quantity of one or more light-weight high-strength synthetic fibres. The invention further provides a mixing bucket adapted to pitch concrete towards the mouth of the drum, a mixing bucket made out of a composition which includes an effective quantity of one or more light-weight high-strength synthetic fibres, and an assembly including a drum, chassis and mixing bucket(s) are made from a 10 composition or composition(s) which includes an effective quantity of one or more light-weight, high-strength synthetic fibres. Further still, an assembly including an integrally formed drum, spiral blade and a mixing bucket is provided, where the assembly is made from a composition which includes an effective quantity of one or more light-weight, high-strength synthetic fibres. |
