PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector cover capable of highly accurately controlling an outer diameter dimension and suppressing shininess on an outer surface, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A molding die 21 in which a through hole 22 having a predetermined inner diameter dimension is formed in a direction of immersion, is immersed in a solution of a thermoplastic resin. The molding die 21 is pulled up from the solution, and a precursor 110 is molded by gelling the resin deposited on an inner surface part of the through hole 22 of the molding die 21. The precursor 110 is released from the molding die 21, and an excess 111 in the precursor 110 is separated. A connector cover 10 thus manufactured and mounted to a connector in which a terminal connected to ends of a wire group in a wire harness is inserted and locked, has an outer diameter dimension corresponding to the inner diameter dimension of the through hole 22, and has an outer surface that becomes a delustering surface or a satin finish surface. |
