PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for an information display apparatus which is made more lightweight than the prior arts and is easily movable even without casters.SOLUTION: A support device 5 for an information display apparatus comprises: a pair of oblique long materials 7 which extend obliquely to a vertical direction; a pair of oblique short materials 9 which extend oppositely to the pair of oblique long materials and obliquely to the vertical direction and of which the upper ends are engaged to intermediate parts of the pair of oblique long materials; a pair of lower connection members 11 of which one-side ends are engaged to lower portions of the pair of oblique long materials and the other-side ends are engaged to lower portions of the pair of oblique short materials; and an upper beam material 13 of which one end is engaged to an upper end of one of the pair of oblique long materials and the other end is engaged to an upper end of the other of the pair of oblique long materials. An image display device 3 is installed while supporting a lower end of the image display device 3 by the pair of lower connection members and supporting a portion at an upper side of the image display device by the upper beam material.
