<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-hop communication system and a communication terminal that can restrain communication traffic required for outward communication from a master station to a slave station.SOLUTION: A master station 1 transmits a multi-data acquisition request Sm1 for slave stations 2c, 2d, 2e having a common trunk route by stem-type multicast. The multi-data acquisition request Sm1 is transmitted through the trunk route of the master station 1→a slave station 2a→a slave station 2b by unicast, and reaches the stem slave station 2b. The stem slave station 2b transmits the multi-data acquisition request Sm1 destined to the slave stations 2c, 2d, 2e from a transmission unit 202 by multicast. Each of the slave stations 2c, 2d, 2e receives the multi-data acquisition request Sm1 destined to its station from the stem slave station 2b by multicast, and transmits meter reading data D3, D4, D5 destined to the master station 1 by unicast respectively. The master station 1 receives the meter reading data D3, D4, D5 via the slave stations 2a, 2b.</p> |
