<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for a secondary battery capable of improving inspection precision.SOLUTION: An inspection method of a secondary battery includes a step in which a surplus liquid A is made to enter an electrode body 20, a step in which width-direction both ends 31b, 41b of coating parts 31, 41 are pressurized to apply first loads P21, P22 to the width-direction both ends 31b, 41b of the coating parts 31, 41 while regions 31c, 41c except for width-direction both ends 31b, 41b of the coating parts 31, 41 are pressurized to apply a second load P23 to the regions 31c, 41c except for the width-direction both ends 31b, 41b, and a step in which, while respective loads P21 to P23 are being applied, an amount of voltage drop is measured when a secondary battery 1 is made to self-discharge, and on the basis of the measurement result of the amount of voltage drop, presence of a foreign substance B which enters the electrode body 20 is inspected. The first loads P21, P22 are larger than the second load P23.</p> |
