A method implemented by a radio network node, such as an evolved NodeB 20, may include generating a first MAC RAR (Medium Access Control Random Access Response) as well as generating a successive MAC RAR. The successive MAC RAR may be generated by differentially coding one or more bits of a field of the successive MAC RAR to produce a compressed successive MAC RAR. |
