Using an optical-path-difference creation member (21), this image acquisition device (M) is capable of forming an optical-path-length difference in second image light without splitting light travelling along a second optical path (L2). The amount of light needed in said second optical path (L2) to obtain focal-position information is thus reduced, ensuring that there is enough light for a first imaging device (18) to take an image. On the imaging surface (20a) of a second imaging device (20), the optical-path-difference creation member (21) in this image acquisition device (M) forms a first incidence region (24A) upon which second image light that exhibits an optical-path difference is incident and a second incidence region (24B) upon which second image light that exhibits no optical-path difference is incident. A second image to use in focusing-information analysis can thus be selected by a focusing computation unit (37) as circumstances require, allowing focusing information to be computed with high precision.
|
