PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber of which a size can be reduced, which is inexpensive and exhibits high versatility and an excellent impact absorption property.SOLUTION: A rear side opposite plate part 62, which separates from and is opposite to a base plate 31 side of a housing device 34 for housing an air bag and is mounted on a cover body 33 of the housing device 34, is arranged on a metal shock absorber 32. A plate-like upper side connection part 63, which curves at least partially in a thickness direction which is a direction intersecting a direction of facing the base plate 31 side to the rear side opposite plate part 62, connects between upper side parts of the base plate 31 side and the rear side opposite plate part 62, and absorbs impact by deformation, is arranged on the shock absorber 32. A plate-like lower side connection part 64, which curves at least partially in the thickness direction which is a direction same as at least a part of the upper side connection part 63, connects between lower side parts of the base plate 31 side and the rear side opposite plate part 62, and absorbs impact by deformation, is arranged on the shock absorber 32. |
