PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a belt type continuously variable transmission that can suppress or prevent slippage of a belt during shift transition.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control device for a belt type continuously variable transmission includes: an electric oil pump 29 operated by an electric motor 28 to discharge working fluid; a first oil passage communicated with a first hydraulic actuator 19 for applying a load in a direction of nipping a belt to one pulley when the electric oil pump 29 is not in operation; a second oil passage 41 communicated with the first hydraulic actuator 19 when the electric oil pump 29 is in operation; switching means 30 for switching the oil passage that is communicated with the first hydraulic actuator 19 from the first oil passage to the second oil passage 41 by supply of discharge pressure of the electric oil pump 29; and flow rate restriction means 40 for restricting a flow rate of the working fluid flowing in the second oil passage 41. |
