PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electric current to be supplied from a battery to an apparatus with sure when the battery is loaded on the apparatus for use.SOLUTION: In a dry battery 10a, three protruding parts 11c are provided on a circumference on the innermost peripheral side of a flange part 11b of a trunk part 11a on an insulating washer part 11. A height of the protruding part 11c is higher, or protruding more, by "H" than the height of a most protruding part of a negative electrode terminal plate 5a, in terms of height upward from A-A line. Arrangement of the protruding parts 11c is asymmetrical on the circumference on the innermost peripheral side of the flange part 11b of the insulating washer part 11. Thus, in the dry battery 10a, even if a positive electrode terminal of a device on which the dry battery is loaded is an oblong leaf spring type, the positive electrode terminal of the device is not separated from the negative electrode terminal of the dry battery, allowing an electric current to be supplied from the dry battery 10a to the device with sure. |
