PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator capable of amplifying and blowing the jet air sent from a compressor.SOLUTION: An ion generator 1 includes a discharge electrode 21 extending toward a blow-out opening 11, a counter electrode 23, and an air discharge opening 16 for supplying jet air, and it sends air ion which is generated by applying a high voltage between both electrodes 21, 23 through the blow-out opening 11. At the counter electrode 23, an arc-like notch part 32A is formed with the discharge electrode 21 as a center when viewed from the blow-out opening 11. The notch part 32A is arranged to provide a gap 25 with a part of the entire periphery of the discharge electrode 21, and the jet air is made to flow toward the gap 25. |
