<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency identification device for reliably identifying currency such as coins and paper moneys mainly used for vending machines.SOLUTION: The paper money identification device has an inversion section 19 which inverts a signal from a voltage detector 17 across the voltage detector 17 and a reset input section 3B which is a specific function input section. The voltage detector 17 outputs a low signal when the voltage from a drive power 5A is a predetermined voltage value or more, and outputs a high signal when the voltage from a drive power 5A is a predetermined voltage value or less. With this, even when the voltage is low, instantaneous activation of a controller 3 is prevented and stable operation of the controller 3 is ensured.</p> |
