PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce reflection diffraction ghost without impairing light collection efficiency inherent to aμ-lens.SOLUTION: The image sensor is provided with eachμ-lens of aμ-lens array 6 at a position corresponding to each pixel on a light flux incident side. A layer 4 of a member different from a member constituting theμ-lens array 6 is disposed on a light ray incident side of theμ-lens array 6. A surface 1 of the layer 4 of the different member has a phase structure optically inverse to theμ-lens array 6.
