Abstract A jointing element (1) for the formation of a joint in cast concrete, comprising a base portion (11) for engaging a foundation surface (55) onto which the concrete is cast, an upper portion (13) and an intermediate portion (15) between the base portion (11) and the upper portion (13), the intermediate portion (15) comprising an offset section (23) offset from the upper portion (13) and extending transversely of the upper portion (13); wherein the upper portion (13) is extended from the base portion (11); and the intermediate portion (15) includes a flange (33) extending from the offset section (23) transversely to the extension of the upper portion (13) from the base portion (11). |
