PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying mechanism that enables sheets with a wide range of properties from a thin sheet to a thick sheet to be stably accumulated in a right position, when they are accumulated.SOLUTION: When a sheet is transferred to a predetermined position by a traveling friction carrier body, a guide member for guiding the friction carrier body is configured to form a plurality of different movement loci. An arm member for supporting the friction carrier body is guided by the movement locus selected depending on a sheet loading height or sheet properties.
