1. A method of identifying signal emitting devices comprising steps of:
providing at least one apparatus, a network, and at least one server computer and/or at least one other apparatus; wherein the server computer includes a database; wherein the apparatus and the other apparatus include a housing, at least one processor, at least one memory, and at least one sensor; wherein the apparatus does not require a connection to the server computer to be operable for identifying at least one signal emitting device; the apparatus sensing and measuring at least one wireless communications signal from the signal emitting device to create measured data; the apparatus calculating signal degradation of the wireless communication signal using hardware parameters, environment parameters and terrain data; the apparatus analyzing the measured data and identifying the signal emitting device in near real-time.
