The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for distributing information, which relate to the field of communications and can distribute different information for different WLAN hotspots. The method for distributing information comprises: an information distributing server receiving information content request message sent by a terminal device, the information content request message carrying a MAC address of an AP; the information distributing server obtaining information content corresponding to the MAC address of the AP according to the MAC address of the AP; and the information distributing server sending the information content to the terminal device. The present invention is used for information distribution. |
