Provided are: a polymerizable compound having high polymerization reactivity, a high conversion ratio and high solubility in liquid crystal compositions; a polymerizable composition containing the compound; a liquid crystal complex prepared from the composition; and a liquid crystal display element having the complex. A polymerizable compound having at least two polymerizable groups, wherein at least one of the polymerizable groups is an acryloyloxy group or a methacryloyloxy group and the rest, i.e., at least one, of the polymerizable groups is a polymerizable group selected from the group consisting of groups respectively represented by formulae (P-1), (P-2) and (P-3). In formulae (P-1) to (P-3), for example, R1 to R8 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group or a trifluoromethyl group. |
