Disclosed is a robot for charging an electric vehicle. The present invention comprises: a driving unit for supporting driving according to a specific driving route inside of a parking lot; a recognition unit for recognizing a vehicle parked on the driving route; an verification unit for verifying whether the vehicle recognized by the recognition unit is registered; and a power supply unit for supplying charging power to a battery in the vehicle. According to the present invention, a user can simply park the electric vehicle belonging to the user to receive automatic inspection of the status of the battery and complete automatic charging of the battery.
