An online gift personalization system includes an application to generate a graphical user interface (GUI) to a computing device and receive from the GUI, user-supplied textual, audio, images, photographic, and/or video content from the computing device, and information associated with a merchant of a gift card and a monetary amount to be associated with the gift card. From the received content and gift card information, the application generates a personalized reveal structure from the received user-supplied content and the gift card. The personalized reveal structure has multiple independently viewable frames that includes the received user-supplied content in which the gift card is included in at least one of the frames.
