<p>The present invention relates to a display device, and in particular, the technical task is to provide a display device and a driving method thereof to enable a gate control signal inputted to one gate driver, among gate drivers placed to face a data driver, to be used in another gate driver. To this end, the display device given in the present invention includes: a panel which has four non-display areas around a display area; a data driver which is formed in the first non-display area among the non-display areas; a first gate driver and a second gate driver which are connected to gate lines formed in the second non-display area facing the first non-display area among the non-display areas and are arranged vertically to data lines formed on the panel via connection lines; and a timing controller which drives the data driver, first gate driver, and second gate driver. The first gate driver is operated according to gate control signals transmitted from the timing controller, generates gate control signals to be used in the second gate driver using the gate control signals, and transmits the generated gate control signals to the second gate driver.</p> |
