<p>The technological subject of the present invention is to provide a building automation system, a gateway, and an operating method thereof which can remove restriction on the number of devices connectable to the gateway and connect devices with different network variable sets to one gateway. The present invention provides the gateway as a tool for solving the aforementioned technological subject, which connects mutually a first network using a first protocol supporting a communication method by binding a network variable and at least one device or a second network using a second protocol in the building automation system. The gateway comprises at least one first communication module communicating with the first network; and a second communication module communicating with the device and the second network. The first communication module includes an NV table having the network variable set for the device or the second network referenced for making communications according to a communication method by the binding between the first network and the device or the second network, and the second communication module selects the NV table of the first communication module according to the device or the second network which is an object to communicate via the gateway. The building automation system, the gateway, and the operating method thereof according to the present invention remove restriction the maximum number of devices connectable to the gateway and connect the devices with different network variable sets to one gateway.</p> |
