PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glow plug with a combustion pressure sensor which reduces influences of a force that is generated by welding shrinkage of a connection member and biases a heater part to the rear end side in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A glow plug 1 with a combustion pressure sensor includes: a housing 100; a heater part 130 which is disposed in the housing 100 so as to displace in an axial direction HJ; a connection member 170 which elastically connects the heater part 130 with the housing 100; and a pressure sensor part 200. A manufacturing method of the glow plug 1 includes: a sensor connection step where the pressure sensor part 200 is connected with the heater part 130 and the housing 100; a first welding step where the connection member 170 is welded to the housing 100; and a second welding step where the connection member 170 is welded to the heater part 130 in a state where the heater part 130 is pulled toward the tip side GS in the axial direction HJ after the sensor connection step and the first welding step. |
