PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide treatment device capable of perfectly treating carbon dioxide with simple constitution.SOLUTION: A compound made of an alkali metal such as NaOH, KTiOand oxygen is stored as a reaction agent inside a sealed reaction cell 1. The reaction cell 1 is heated to 150°C or higher and carbon dioxide is fed therein from either side of the reaction cell 1 so as to be changed into sodium carbonate and hydrogen. The hydrogen is exhausted from the other side of the reaction cell 1, while the sodium carbonate is deposited inside the reaction cell 1. Thus carbon dioxide is treated at a relatively low temperature and with simple constitution to obtain hydrogen and sodium carbonate. |
