<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy article supporting device capable of adjusting pressure of oil in accordance with a body to be supported while suppressing consumption of the oil.SOLUTION: A heavy article supporting device includes: a supporting body having a placement surface on which a body to be supported is placed, and an annular arrangement groove formed on the placement surface; an annular sealing member arranged in the arrangement groove in such a manner that a part thereof is protruded from the placement surface; an oil supply structure for supplying oil to a region surrounded by the sealing member in the placement surface; and an oil recovery structure for recovering the oil from the region surrounded by the sealing member in the placement surface. The oil recovery structure has a recovery hole formed in the region surrounded by the sealing member in the placement surface, and opened to the outside of the placement surface, and by controlling an amount of the oil flowing between the body to be supported and the placement surface, the body to be supported can be supported at appropriate pressure in accordance with the weight of the body to be supported and external force acting on the body to be supported.</p> |
